It’s crazy how everyone is made up of the same organs and mass, and yet it defines them in a completely unique way. The same raw tar felt by the tender feet of an infant and weak ones of my neighbour. At any point of time, I wonder how many different pairs of eyes are secretly wandering off into oblivion; that is the sky. My nineteen year old gaze, must be so different from that of the thirty year old who cleans my hostel room. Be that as it may; hell, my gaze yesterday was different from what it is today.

I think you shouldn’t be afraid of change. It brings pain, love, smiles, sadness, and sorrow; but most importantly, I think change is what creates. It creates everything. It might even be the root of what i presume to be happiness.

Change, changes itself.

This is calming to me.

What is truly frightening, is constancy. And moreover, the idea of preconditioning your perspective into only thinking of what remains constant.

Waking up everyday on the same bed, bathing under the same shadow of the morning sun in a steam filled shower, laughing on an old joke with the same pair of friendly mouths, and wearing that worn out tee shirt that used to be new. I think, every time you wake up on that bed, there’s a part of you, you can reinvent. The same old tee shirt smelled differently when it was new and changes everytime you use a new detergent on it. The shadows of the sun in your shower protect you when you were at your lowest and brightest.

I think change is beautiful. It’s redundancy would only be known to those who couldn’t comprehend the power it holds.
